They stick their finger along the outside of the trigger guard. That is something spawned of the new age of hammer-less, 2.5lb pull pistols and users who need to go get some evolution. Running along with their finger sticking out and body- braced in some crude delta arm-lock looking thing or stance or statue or something. Gads.
Bad guys still cannot hit anything despite firing hundreds of rounds in every direction and having high powered scopes over high capacity magazines. And in a perfect crossfire. And plus the target is already wounded because of tripping.
But they hit nothing.
The good guy fires once if he is cool and twice if he is professional. Have to pay homage to the readers of Double Tap. He fires with precision and is already recovering before the bullet hits the target. His after- grimace that is laced with satisfaction and washed with moral certainty.
Afterward its beers and the broad. His colleges are so impressed they don’t even bother with jealousy.

A returning hero riding a golden chariot. But there is a slave whispering into his ear, “Victory is fleeting” as his personal life shows signs that his moral code is eating at him. Actions are not always right and that makes him drink too much, sleep around and take chances and be self-destructive.
